As a software developer you will be a key contributor to design, development and delivery of virtuwell’s web and mobile web applications. Preferred candidates are able to demonstrate an ability to routinely craft high quality work and contribute to a stimulating work environment. Qualified candidates will have:
* Groovy web Framework (Grails, Spring, Hibernate) experience
* Unit testing (JUnit, Spock)
* Automated integration testing (Spock)
* Experience working on Agile teams (pair programming, refactoring, story writing and estimation)
* BA/BS Computer Science or a technical/quantitative degree
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Demonstrable interest in learning and adopting new tools and techniques
* Humble enough to learn from others, confident enough to teach others new things
Nice to haves:
* Automated Functional testing (Geb, Selenium) experience
* Javascript testing frameworks (QUnit, Jasmine) experience
* Rich browser-based development (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS) experience
* Experience working with javascript Frameworks (Backbone, AngularJS, Ember, Knockout)
* UI template engine (Dustjs, Mustache, Handlebars) experience
